Our Responsibilities

Management Commitment

Digital Advisors Ltd management will:

• Provide adequate resources for health and safety management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation
• Regularly review and update health and safety policies and procedures
• Provide appropriate training and supervision for all staff
• Maintain safe systems of work and equipment

Employee Responsibilities

All employees are required to:

• Follow established health and safety procedures
• Use provided personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
• Report hazards, accidents, and near-misses immediately
• Participate in health and safety training programs
• Take reasonable care for their own safety and that of others

Installation Safety Procedures

Site Assessment

Before any installation work begins, we conduct comprehensive site risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures. This includes evaluation of working at height, electrical safety, and environmental factors.

Working at Height

For digital signage installations involving work at height, we:

• Use appropriate access equipment (scaffolding, MEWPs, ladders)
• Ensure all staff are trained in working at height procedures
• Implement fall protection systems where required
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance

Electrical Safety

All electrical work is carried out by qualified electricians in accordance with BS 7909 and IET Wiring Regulations. We ensure proper isolation procedures, testing, and certification of all electrical installations.

Training and Competence

We provide comprehensive health and safety training including:

• General health and safety awareness
• Job-specific safety training
• Working at height certification
• First aid training
• Manual handling techniques
• Emergency procedures

Incident Reporting and Investigation

All accidents, incidents, and near-misses must be reported immediately to management. We maintain detailed records and conduct thorough investigations to prevent recurrence and continuously improve our safety performance.

Emergency Procedures

Emergency procedures are established for all work locations, including evacuation plans, first aid arrangements, and emergency contact information. All staff are trained in emergency response procedures relevant to their work activities.

Monitoring and Review

This health and safety policy is reviewed annually or following significant changes to operations, legislation, or after serious incidents. Regular safety audits and inspections are conducted to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
